IMO, I don't think the IMU short position is a such a big deal and I much prefer to look at price charts & indicators, though it's interesting to note the fluctuations in short positions in light of recent company developments/announcements. I see the IMU short positions spiked up +1% to 4% of total shares (~202m/5b shares) last Wednesday 4/8, then drop -2% to 2% of total shares (~110m/5b shares) the following day. Any insights and constructive thread contributions regarding the machinations of these short sales would be greatly appreciated.
