I do remember someone writing that, and the volume on the 17th Sept was very much higher times normal volume.
What I can't see now is whether the 'buying' occurred during normal market trading or after 4pm.
I suspect that there were a lot of transfers after 4pm between brokers, as during normal trading that volume would have been expected to push the price up significantly, maybe more than the 9.4% that occurred that day.
