Your point of only using one indicator is incredibly important and would definitely have made you avoid that final $800 loss.

Ah look it’s a great exercise to go through as it really helps in understanding TA. We should really do it with all the indicators we use as you’d be amazed with the results. Hingdog is right that in reality these numbers don’t always work out but IMO the reason for that is our own emotions. For some reason we think we can outsmart the market and act accordingly only to get smacked on most occasions. Really got to take all emotions out of TA analysis. IMO.
Bloody hard though.
