Steini - I agree that funds should be spent in the fight against cancer and in public health - but I think that funds spent fighting crime and domestic violence are well spent. Hate to see what sort of society we would end up with if these areas were de-funded.
Maybe confiscate the possessions of those committing crimes and using that to fund medical research is a better option.
