I like the logic behind your post @fattchoi. The fast tracking does seem to allude to the IDMC having more info than we are privy to and I must say surely they have. The one thing I cannot seem to avoid in my thinking is that trials generally prove either that something works or it does not - so dare I say it - even if the substance being trialled fails to work the trial is still successful because if conducted properly it proved that it did not. Scientists and researchers win either way - we must prove something which looks promising does not work so that the next best thing can be trialled. So in my book the IMU team either way will not fail medically whereas we investors mostly place our hard earned money on just the one outcome - the one that brings fortune the quickest. Not saying we all do and I recognise this is an investment forum so I would expect the posts to be about making money. So I am just trying to provoke some extra thought behind what your money is actually achieving whether you lose out financially or not it definitely has not been wasted and has progressed the research in an area where the Govt is not prepared to spend enough unless these cancers produce a pandemic which affects the whole of our economy. Troll fodder may be but it is a view I have held since first investing.
