no such thing as fair value price IMO. It’s about what people are happy to buy and whet are happy to sell

buyer I want to pay $1 per share ( but my limit unknown to the seller is $1.5, above that I walk away)
seller I want $2. per share ( but my lower limit unknown to the buyer is $1.4, below that I walk away)
In this scenario a deal will get made
Nothing fare about it
Of course you do occasionally get a surprise when the initial over is above your wildest dreams
