An option provides the right, but not the obligation to but an asset (underlying securities) at a price that is determined today, at any given time up until the expiry date...

I would suggest that it is not sensible to buy any options until you have all gained an understanding of how they work... do your own research, Asx has plenty of information available and its really important you understand the risks and potential rewards..

Options are great but you need to understand them before jumping in or you may burn yourself..

Because options give control, not ownership, when you exercise and option, this is the moment you acquire the shares....
