Yes, but there is no need for all that bull s*** we all know that the interpretation changes over time. If your rego expires the cops & the courts don't care what your excuse is, they say that you know that it is expired and it is your responsibility to renew or leave the car at home NO EXCUSES quite clear for everyone really so why complicate something that does not need to be complicated. I wonder if any of the legal establishment has the balls to insist that the clear and unambiguous intention of the initial legislation is adhered to. Guess that would be to simple and not in their interest so I wonder who keeps the gate keeper honest
