I have read many times now where posters have had adverse things to say about the DML Board in relation to the so-called CFC takeover scenario. They simply look at the t/o price of 1.70 and the current price of 0.20 approx. IMO this is wrong.

Please read the above ann - if you have difficulty connecting, the ann is on the website under 2013 and dated 5 February. The ann summrises the issues very well.

I have also looked at associated documents, albeit quite some time ago.

IMO there is nothing untoward in the Board's actions. They have at all times acted (in this matter) in the interests of the s/h. IMO CFC never had any intention of taking over the company but driving the share price of the company into the ground and taking over cheaply. The Board was so distracted by this "non-offer" that they took the eyes off the business. IMO this was part of CFCs plan.

If you look at their offer doc, it was full of holes designed to allow it to walk away.

I decided at that time that if ever a Chinese company made a t/o offer for any co that I had shares in, I would sell on-market and get out.

Please have a good look before criticising the Board - IMO they have acted in our interests in extremely difficult circumstances.
