Sentence missing from Friday's announcement?
After: "Additionally, a number of drill holes were completed at Clayton Basin to infill the previous drill program and to test for extensions."
No mention of what may have been found when testing for extensions. This is where the real story is.
The focus should not be the 80-hole assays. These were done over 20 sq km, 500m apart as a reconnaissance. It was mainly for the Geos to confirm the lay of the land, as is done with most drill programs.
The focus should be on the extent of concentrated deposits as this is what will make the company.
From a previous report: “Of special interest is a scarp, approximately 1200m in length and 2.5 to 3m high that assayed between 29 to 374ppm uranium (11 assay locations) and averages 189.9ppm uranium. The latter is equivalent to an average of 223.8ppm U3O8 along the entire outcrop.”
Well, in that one section alone, we are probably looking at several hundred million USD worth of Uranium. Hypothetically, what if they found that after further drilling, this zone actually extended another few km’s?
