I'm not sure if Steve has the skill set for CSG or shale. If my recollection is correct, he may have been involved in us conning the QLD govt. allowing
us to introduce gas to our state owned power station.

The state government policy was always to retard govt owned corporations in expanding and becoming profitable - both major parties always placed hurdles in the way.

I attributed the success in conning the govt. to the CEO. Since him leaving the public sector he has taken a few private companies to be taken over by large energy companies.

For the benefit for ranters and ravers on HC, the board and management alway told us - unless they were bullsh?ting - that we were on par or more efficient then the majority of privately owned power stations.

Just image what we could have done for the community if the handbrakes were taken off!
