Characteristics that work well for us in other day to day life sometimes don't do so well in the market. Love rats (if also smart and cunning) tend to do better in the market than similar "faithful" investors.

That said, there are many reasons why market "love rats" may remain quite happy to keep their association with LNC going and may be in for quite a long ride (even if it needs to be renewed on a daily basis).
