Colonel Sanders’ nephew discloses KFC’s secret ‘11 herbs and spices’ to reporter

A handwritten list of 11 herbs and spices discovered in a scrapbook owned by Colonel Sanders’ second wife may be the top-secret “original recipe” that his Kentucky chicken franchise has kept under lock and key for the last several decades, the Chicago Tribune reported Friday.
“…. But what I'm really interested in is the handwritten note on the back of the document. At the top of the page, in blue ink, it reads, "11 Spices — Mix With 2 Cups White Fl." That's followed by an enumerated list of herbs and spices. Eleven herbs and spices. And the measurements for each. “
