I don't think we will see any corporate action to acquire BGL until production results show a clear turn around, too much risk for an office boffin. They need to be able to convince everyone, i.e. colleagues, investors and shareholders. A promise of hope or it's cheap isn't good enough.
This is why retail should buy BGL now and cash out some when production results come in, keeping some for the offer, it will come imo just not yet imo.
