My assumption:
Nobody will offload that stake for no premium right now.
So it was swapping between hands. A bank/fund etc sending them to a different subsidiary, who is better positioned to benefit from a takeover. Eg. if one is better set up to realise a capital gain, or hold stock in the potential acquiring companies.
So just a big holder getting better prepared, since they see a takeover as possible/likely.
