Don't worry pelm11 I think I have a fairly good idea why tese people do that. It is fairly obvious and I think I made that clear in my comments in my posts.
Very often these people feign interest in the share but there is just something that is holding them back from taking that final step ( Create uncertainty). They also sometimes try to create a knowledge base so that they appear to know what they are talking about (Superior professional knowledge). Then, if they want to have a negative influence, they find a "weakness" which they chisel away at. (Create further uncertainty). This is very often represented as an attempt to kindly and altruistically warn holders or potential buyers that there is something not quite right about this share. For some it is a game. How much can the frustrate and annoy by their tactics. Bit like computer hackers. How clever can I be? The challenge ! For others it is because they have an agenda to push their own share favourite or whatever. So yes it is a case of reading through and picking up the clues
