The only basis for your argument appears to be the "8% assumption" following the lab trial.
Clearly the lab trial was not a mini version of the station trial. For a start the K solids are primarily leonite and not schoenite. Notes 2 & 3 make it clear that some incorrect methodology followed on from the lab trial. That is, brine was transferred too early during the station study.

In my opinion this announcement is not that clearly worded. It is certainly a work in progress. A diagram would have made it much easier to understand.

The future test work is likely to be equally technical.
