I am just trying to compare apples with apples.
The EPM study and GSL figures are the best we have.
I think Phil is disappointed because the Doc has given us results which did't match the original promise following the lab trial. However the numbers appear to be in the ball park for this type of commercial operation.
We know the Doc is a PhD in chemistry but does he have any previous field experience in Solar pond chemistry? This is not a criticism but I think we are seeing in practice what scientists doing trials see everyday.
I doubt there are many chemists/engineers in Australia with much practical experience in solar ponds AND crystallisation of potash minerals but there is plenty of material out there and application is what science and engineering is all about.
We know from the RUM studies that the flotation method is likely to work. We don't know how the minerals will be converted and what the conversion rate will be.
I expect to see a lot more announcements that will confuse a lot of people.
How many technical announcements on brine chemistry has the ASX had before?
If my previous post made some incorrect assumptions I know Phil will correct me.
