What`s wrong with what we`ve found in Uganda so far? Nothing IMHO.
The reality is we only need one decent discovery per year for a few more years. What does the market want? Several major discoveries evry drilling programme?
The reality is, at the current POO, we will have some sort of development on Tiof. Don`t forget, there is 1 Billion barrels of oil down there. Surely we could have some sort of FPSO to take 10% of that. If our dear friends at Woodside cannot then find me a partner that can.
The reality is we have gas at Banda and a few other places that, last time i looked, were the equvalent of 500 million barrels of oil. Sooner or later we will develop a gas field or two. Yes i know, even if terms were agreed today, it would be several years before the cash started rolling in but we have many, many potential income streams to develop.
