Barclays only got rid of 0.42% of their holding which they bought mid Dec to early January. They are still holding 4.71%. That amounted to selling only 6.7mill of their 79mill holding. I wouldn't think it has anything to do with the downtrend. Remember the uptrend was caused by rumours of a takeover and I feel those rumours have not been proven. What irks me is the slow advice to market. The offload happened on the 11 January (13 days ago)!!!
