I understand that Winchester is really a contingent resource.
The drill is more about 'how much gas and is it commercial'.

However I don't quite agree or see that Geoff would hold out for a deal with Santos contingient on Winchester being a commercial find, i.e. after the drill. Would show supreme confidence in Winchester if that was the case.
Understand that perhaps Santos would like OXX. Plenty of synergy there too.
I think poeple are just starting to realise how 'juicy' Winchester is!
However if that was the case would not Santos need to move before Winchester is drilled??

So we have CUE and or STO that seem an obvious natural fit.
And of course not discounting the possibility of someone from left field??
Lots of food for thought. Geoff has not been called 'wily' numerous times for nothing.
Could be nothing of course and even if he is up to something it could all come to nought of course.
