I was looking at the results of our DLE vs Standards and from what I've read:
- Prairie brine + ILiAD has a higher % rejection of impurities vs Standard's brine + Koch DLE
- Standard have a few more processing steps to get to their concentrate (2 steps for reverse osmosis, two ion exchange steps (dedicated step for Calcium and Magnesium removal, dedicated step for Boron removal))
- AZL concentrate comes out at 20k mg/L, Standards comes out at 10k mg/L
Standard vs AZL project economics
Capex: AZL 290 million (6k tpa production), Standard 315 million (5.4k tpa production)
Battery grade Opex: AZL $5445, Standard $6,810
