Mjmj, I think that all is not what it seems is correct regarding the leverage of the Africans and the Chinese. If you imply that the Board really wants a NO vote, I think it would need Hedge Fund support. As mentioned before, that would also imply a Board strategy and to have that confidence then they would be feeling some leverage.
So my position is to take things at face value. I vote Yes. If the No vote got up with unanimous hedge fund support then that would be interesting. Very hard to see it though given the way those guys/gals get remunerated. Not sure whether their own Boards would be taking punts like that.
