Not sure yet, but this is not a quick fix. There is a lot of drilling and stabilization work to be completed just to seal off the water from entering the ventilation shaft.
Step 1 Investigate
Step 2 "The mobilisation of drill rigs to install a high-pressure grout curtain to minimise the water inflow,"
Step 3 "filling of the vent rise with inert rock material to stabilise it."
