Don't sell dude I know yr frustration I get it. No advice of course but you have to take a world macro view on this as you are sort of doing but your lense is too focused on Australia.
My average buy in price so far is yr 21 zone and I get it's frustrating and it's manipulated and yes the POG keeps going nowhere despite all the "inflation"
But here is the thing. Most of them are Keynesians - they just don't get it... (yet). The (fiat) penny is yet to drop in their silly silly Keynesian heads
They are all our of the same "government stimulus is good economics" schools. The RBA board and even some of the directors of out great institutions and big business.
So I get your frustration re Australia
This is understandable of course - I get it... we are the ar$e end of the world - I truly get that and where you are coming from (yes local management are pathetic in looking after shareholders in this country) and yes we have been massively let down by socialist governments - but here is the thing, when it's a crappy, unproductive place and crappy assets are depreciating abound around you, where are you going to put your capital?
In quality assets with the AUD of sub 70'c that sooner or later in the long run will be seen as valuable to foreign hands with USD?
Or what? the Aussie pesso?
And what are these valuable assets here in Aus?
Well there aren't actually many...
Our gold stocks are in that small basket.
It's what we are known for and we have way way lower sovereign risk than the competition
So Think about what you are doing before acting Dude....
This is in my buy zone under 20 bucks and will be all the way to 10 if I have to - I'll be adding over the coming years (if it takes that long) for people to WAKE UP to the ruthless effects of poor fiscal spending by governments and in the end what that does do ones purchasing power...
Assuming you have a long term horizon of course...
