'no news is bad news'

What a load of rubbish...in my 15 years of investment in junior mining companies, I would have missed out on a lot of profits if I used that philosophy.

And in fact in my EARLY investment days I DID miss out on a lot of profits when i sold due to 'no news'.

However as an investor that likes to be fully informed (and deserve it given my loyalty to companies) I get annoyed when management do not provide clear announcements even where they are 'just updates' (as Phil referred to it in his email).
