I don't think Africa really came into it. The company went under with what? 180 million shares on issue. That's a relative pittance for a spec oil company. It speaks volumes about their resolute indifference to keeping the ASX entity going for a few reasons. It was a poison pill really - if the ownership structure changed too much in Australia they'd have to pay tax in Tanzania because the ownership of that company changed.
