It's about the shortage of available positions in some childcare centres next year. IMO the area with the lowest vacancy rates is Sydney's northern beaches and lower north shore area and I presume the writer is based in that area.
IMO there is enormous potential for increased occupancy in some of G8's centres, but the corporate blanket of one size fits all approach is hindering improving enrolments. G8 believe that the centres themselves are responsible for a large part of their development. They are educators and beyond that they need more support and expertise.
