It's the old adage of "mud sticks" and brings into question practices by association. My brokers are always trading on the premise of news usually in the reporting season and speculation as to a positive or negative report. Really G8 hit a left turn with the restructure of dividend payments from 4 to 2 per annum and some ancillary news that floated along with it. A good report upcoming will see the boat float again I am sure.
