The issue has always been that parents object to paying fees to centre's for care, on public holidays when all centre's are closed.
Some centre's do offer those parents, where the days of booked attendance fall on a public holiday a 'make up' day, but it's always been a issue with parents that they are paying for care on a day it's not available. On orientation visits 90% of parents enquire about payment for public holidays and if 'make up' days are offered.
