thymus/others: A bit of history about Astellas:
Yamanouchi Yakuhin Shokai in Osaka changed name to YAMANOUCHI Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. in 1940 and then moved from Osaka to Tokyo in 1942.
This changed on April 1st, 2005 (no April's fool joke!) to become Astellas Pharma Inc., which was newly established on that day.
One of the major Pharma companies in Japan for certain.
