"Sydney correspondents report that Australian Federal Police officers have executed a search warrant on the offices of Fairstar's broker, Findlay & Co, and a couple of addresses in Sydney's eastern suburbs.
Moles have told our Sydney crew that the warrants relate to the affairs of Fairstar, which has long been the subject of a vitriolic letter-writing campaign and complaints to authorities by a disgruntled investor."
The rediculous takeover attempt is most probably the cause for the GWR share price dropping. People are sick of it and the majority of GWR shareholders are opposed to it - and why wouldn't they be. Hopefully it will get sorted out properly one way or another.
