    investors in PanAust appear confident another takeover offer will be forthcoming, with the firm’s stock ending Wednesday slightly above the bid price of suitor Guangdong Rising Assets Management. You would think the failure of a new suitor to emerge last year -- despite persistent rumours -- would have scared traders off, but apparently some believe the firm could be a target for Mick Davis’ new venture, X2 Resources.
