It not publicly disclosed what is occurring in the negotiations between KCN and Thai government. We can only speculate.. perhaps KCN is pushing for compensation when the PM has flatly said no. The reality if i was to put my shoes in the PM he probably disproves the fact he has been cornered and lost ‘face’ in that perspective I would image the KCN relationship is toxic.
In addition, if KCN did win arbitration and got paid out it is unlikely they will ever operate in Thailand again.
It has been woeful experience being long term holder watching your company being treated unreasonably. This board room spill is in the hands of the top 20. And whether they want to continue to operate in Thailand. I have no further information to add without repeating myself. I am out of this discussion.
