Large pharma is ravenous for product and Solbec have one that the fda is willing to promote and perhaps fast-track them to market.
It can take 5 years to find a target and another 5 years before you get to the stage SBP are at...
Surely you'd pay $60m for a drug like that...
Any bio investor sifting through the myriad of US and European deals done in 2005 will tell you that this company is way, way, undervalued. Their market cap is a tad over $20m fully diluted.
Resource and mining stocks have given investors multiples on their original outlays...Sure small bios are on the nose atm...but so were resource stocks two years ago...After 12 months of sutained buying the bulls took over in 2005 and we all saw what happened to stocks in the Materials sector.
The rotation from these sectors is as natural as any other cycle and even if commodity prices stabilise some stocks will be sold down. Some metals will take out old highs, that's also on the cards, however the percentage gains cannot be overlooked for some of the micro-cap bios like Solbec imo.
One fda licence is good; two makes you a target.
