What needs to be ralised is that every big pharma will want a virus -
just like chemotherapy - each company has a drug with slightly different molecules so that they can market and compete

Other than one companty that recently was bought out - all the virotherapy small companies know each other intimately and are very friendly to each other - they all know they will get picked off by the big companies
They all want the trials of their competitors to succeed as it will benefit them all

There will never be a one hit wonder drug - it will always be combination of medications
