Any major foreign investor in a small Australian exploration company will look out for No. 1 first, of course, but with Bhushan on board, the Bowen board has ensured its shareholders retain plenty of upside and a revenue stream to fund future developments.
Compare this to the "rape & pillage" tactics of the Chinese in the iron ore sector and you'll appreciate why this deal with Bhushan is good for Bowen shareholders. Far from handing Bowen to Bhushan on a platter, the Bowen board has done the best deal it could for its shareholders, and deserve the support of those shareholders.
As you say, Bhushan's support is valuable to Bowen. Did we get screwed?? IMO, no. This is a long term relationship between Bowen and Bhushan, which will deliver substantial benefits to patient investors. IMO, the only people who will get screwed are those who panic and sell out before Bowen realises its full potential.
