You may be technically correct but it is difficult to be prescriptive when being definitive on well successes in the Canning.
Sure there were a number of wells drilled in the past. The vision that ES had , and his scientific approach to the entire Canning, has resulted in an extremely high potential Basin Centered Gas Accumulation (BCGA). The wells drilled in the last couple of years have been tied in and enabled this big picture to emerge. Virtually every well, whether tested or not, have contributed to this picture.
My advice to any newcomers would be to read the AGM Presentation , or even the presentations made back last April and May. It provides some idea as to the the massive potential of the Canning and indeed BRU's share.Independent experts have indicated up to 100TCF and billions of bbls liquids. This is more than has been discovered in the entire Carnarvon Basin.
This is why 2014 will be such a big year. Wells will be drilled and tested , reserves will be upgraded, and hopefully a big picture development plan will be the result.
