I think China will realise that if they delay shipments io mines will shut down. This will increase the price of io for next year. At the moment they are playing games. I think the call with Rudd was an important milestone for them to realise the consequences. Yes, China needs exports but the dynamics are such that domestic consumption will sustain growth. China will be the worlds biggest economy soon. They don't have a choice. Demographics.
