But lets not forget that if they go overboard, DERM could also bring down the entire UCG and CBM industry. If I was a UCG company, I would be going to the CBM crowd and saying, "Start lobbying on our behalf or we will start pointing out that the same standards and intense scrutiny of water quality should be applied to CBM, shale and everything else for that matter". If 1 ppb is enough to shut down an operation, then there will be a lot of nervous miners in QLD.
