re: qtl annouces profit Sydney, NSW - 14 February 2003 - Quadtel Ltd (ASX: QTL), advises shareholders to expect February to
be the first month of operating profit.
As mentioned in the 4C issued in late January, the company's 2002 cost reduction measures, new vendor
deals and the continued growth of broadband uptake will lead the company to very pleasing results by the end of the month
Bruce Ind, C.E.O. of Quadtel commented, "naturally I am ecstatic with the results and am proud that Quadtel's ability to adapt to the challenging market demands is paying off." He continued, "A$ I've said previously, 2003 will be and already is a great year for us, we've just received our first Panda Software order ahead of the expected forecast and the interest is immense.'
The company looks forward to presenting an update regarding its investment in China within the next few
weeks.
