Yes I had the same when in conversation with Tigers support. I have spoken with Westpac and they will do free DRS transfers from US Computershare holdings. I am waiting on Computershare to get back to me to ensure they do not charge a transfer out fee. From what you've detailed of your experience I assume there wasn't a fee from Computershare's end. Westpac look like the best option at this point although I wouldn't choose them to trade with normally. Might even transfer to them and transfer out to my local broker of choice (assuming this doesn't entail the DRS shenanigans).
