Agree Norgate
Directors and more especially CEOs and other key personnel shouldn't be entitled to performance benefits for hitting base case milestones, that's what their base package is designed to reward them for. I have no problem incentivising them to hit higher targets, the higher the target the bigger the incentive but to be clear incentives must be ties to actual corporate performance around output, profits and growth not the share price, all that does is encourage them to talk up the story and diverts them from their real job which is building the company.
