If there is sufficient gold in the tenements to make it worth mining ... gold has been mentioned, the prospect of shipping tailings out of state for U recovery becomes a possibility. Leaving a big hole in the gorund might not go over to well with the Old govt or the greenies though... no bugger it, fill the thing with water and make a water sports attraction, that's the ticket !
