The market is a forward-thinking market, AMP is now restructuring itself which costs money and takes time. The market can see this, this is why AMP is going up in value, outperforming the market by 40%.
This will only continue as cost savings kick in and AMP's income continues to increase, and dividends are re-introduced. By 2024, the wealth division will be in the black as well, pulling in more income. It's all about the future, and AMP will be here for a very long time.

Agree. You can't valuated Amp at the moment based on income. It's going through a transition.

Costs will be inflated and future opportunities (income) are not reflected on the balance sheet. Looking at Amp through income and revenue lens will not be accurate
