I was thinking about what you said and am not convinced we're taking about the same thing.
I was taking about the Chinese banquet also known as Yum- cha (it also includes some delicacies like chickens feet).
I suspect you're taking about the fried mini Chico roll like thing called dim-sim.
But I could be wrong, it could be dim sim rather than dim sum.

I bow to you Tasmanian food purist/purists chops and will no longer sound like a Pom, a Kiwi , a Springbock or generally write with a plum in my mouth. I even found out what you moniker Rankaye was meant when it got auto corrrected into two 'words'.
