Unfortunately Kracm selling at a capital loss would firstly, not offset any income tax liability from a dividend, it would only result in carried forward capital losses - as the shares a not held on revenue account. Secondly, any sale of shares to realise a capital loss, which are then repurchased straight after would likely be subject to wash sale provisions. In my opinion only of course.
