As a point of clarification:

1. Only candidate: The correct terminology is "Sole source contract". Brainchip was approached by NASA independently of its Awards program and said to Brainchip we would like to become an Early Access Program customer? Brainchip said you will have to pay just like everyone else. NASA said yes but you will have to be part of our Government regulated sole source contract program. Brainchip said what do we do? NASA said you we will put out a tender for the AKIDA Early Access Program and it you are the winner then we can legally buy the program from you. So NASA put out the tender for AKIDA EAP and Brainchip applied and they were the only tender and then under the Government guidelines they were declared the 'Sole Source" provider of the AKIDA EAP program to NASA and on 23.12.20 Brainchip announced on the ASX that this had occurred. Shortly after NASA sent a cheque for $US50,000 to Brainchip and they sent the goods. Having been declared a "Sole Source" contract provider NASA was then entitled to continue to buy things from Brainchip related to the tender as they are the sole source. Following receipt of the goods they were sent by NASA to the Ames Space Research Centre for testing etc; That situation remains ongoing.

2. Separately and not in anyway dependant on 1. above Brainchip announced that Vorago had entered the EAP program for the purpose of Vorago satisfying a successful Phase 1 NASA Award for funding to confirm a design for the hardening of AKD1000 using Hardsil for deep space flight. A representative of Vorago replied to an email of a poster here earlier this year stating that they had completed Phase 1 and had now applied to NASA for Phase 2. Apart from this email no further information has been released officially from either NASA or Brainchip of which I am aware.

3. Prior to 1. and 2. above a company called Tensor Innovation Partners applied for a Phase 1 grant to use AKD1000 in a COTS SWaP Award for CubeSat. No announcement has been made by Brainchip regarding this Phase 1 award or in relation to Tensor Innovation Partners.

4. Well before 1 & 2 above Professor Iliadis of the Democratis University of Thrace gave an interview to a Greek magazine in which he said NASA was using AKIDA for in space navigation and control.

5. NASA can if it wishes under its Awards Program at any time change the nature of the relationship and jump to Phase 3 even from an initial Phase 1 application. NASA can also at any time determine that an Application should be taken top secret for national security reasons.

This is all I have but hopefully will allow any discussion to be based upon the actual known facts.
