I totally agree. With the US trying to fast track AI to stay ahead of China, why would they not go to Phase 3 straight away. They have been working with Brainchip for sometime, they know what Akida can do. Vorago has looked at the hardening process of Akida on 28nm(suited to hardening) for NASA. They would know how confident they are about the result.
Why would NASA / USA put off for another 6 months something that is critical today to give them an edge in the AI race. It would not make sense.
Of all the cases where a jump from Phase 1 to Phase 3 would be applicable surely this is it.
