Brainchip Akida Early Access Evaluation Kit
Synopsis: NASA/NSSC has a requirement for Brainchip Akida Early Access Evaluation Kit.   NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to  BrainChip, Inc.  65 Enterprise Ste 325 Aliso Viejo, California 92656-2705

Under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i).
It has been determined that BrainChip, Inc.
is the sole provider of Brainchip Akida Early Access Evaluation Kit.
NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort.
  Performance will be located at NASA/ Ames Research Center (ARC).
The Government intends to acquire commercial items and services using the provisions, clauses and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13

12.101 Policy.

The head of the agency shall—
  (a) Conduct market research to determine whether commercial items or nondevelopmental items are available that could meet the agency’s requirements;
  (b) Acquire commercial items or nondevelopmental items when they are available to meet the needs of the agency; and
  (c) Require prime contractors and subcontractors at all tiers to incorporate, to the maximum extent practicable, commercial items or nondevelopmental items as components of items supplied to the agency.
